Meaning “today”, and “the present moment” in Spanish, HOY hotel strives “to make every stay with them as unique as the guests who walk through their doors, because every day is a new exciting opportunity waiting to happen.”

As taking care of their guests, each other, oneself and the world at the core of their philosophy, they focus on mental and physical health providing plant-based food and yoga sessions on property. “HOY is intended to be a meeting place, evolving around health and well-being of the body, mind and soul,” notes the hotel. And all this in the bustling heart of Paris. HOY also stands for House of Yoga, presenting one of the main pillars of the accommodation.

“Being not only a practice, yoga represents the amusement of living the present moment, and that moment is today and now. Gathering different disciplines to find a moment with your inner self, to start listening to your body and arouse curiosity. The spirit we're aspiring to embrace,” the hotel notes.

Together with restaurateurs Sabrina Goldin and Stéphane Abby, founder Charlotte Gomez de Orozco defined the beautiful serene aesthetic of HOY. Shrouded in a serene, airy and bright atmosphere, the rooms and common areas immediately set the right tone as a serene sanctuary in the bustling French capital. The overall color and material palette is natural and sober, providing a calming atmosphere. Every room has a natural air purifier, dance bars for stretching and a yoga set. The decoration in the hotel mainly consist of flowers, plants, ceramics and rattan pieces which make for a natural and cozy look. The hotel itself also has been built with consciousness.

“We strongly believe in community design that encourages conscious daily choices.” As a result, HOY uses organic and French products for their toiletries making them in a unique collaboration with The Naked Shop, the first zero waste shop in Paris.

Cuisine, an important factor in pursuing a healthy and happy life as well, also plays a major role in the hotel’s agenda. “Eating is a soul-calling moment for us, our restaurant menu at MESA de HOY was made in collaboration with the English chef, Lauren Lovatt, elevating our dishes with a 100 percent plant-based cuisine inspired by Latin America,” the hotel notes. With a balanced and neutral aesthetic, yoga practices and principles and delicious healthy food, HOY manages to create  harmony between guests and their surroundings.
