Dreaming of the perfect escape? Situated between the city of Ostuni and the Adriatic Sea, Masseria Dagilupi, a boutique hotel renovated from an old olive mill, offers a destination unlike any other. With only three rooms and access to the olive grove, it’s an oasis nestled between the trees overlooking the foothills of Ostuni. In the Puglia region, between Salento and Itria Valley, the property breathes in the Italian countryside with a retreat that feels like a step back in time, whisking guests to a place of serenity and charm.

A former oil mill surrounded by ancient olive trees, the oldest part of Masseria Dagilupi dates back to 1600, and some discoveries made during the renovation date back to the Magna Graecia era. Touching on this history, the property was remodeled with traditional architectural white stone walls and arched doorways. The three rooms, the Terrace Suite Ostuni, Garden Suite Ulivo, and Deluxe Room Limoni, try to capture this ancient beauty with spacious and comfortable bedrooms with large bathrooms done in a classic Italian design with minimalist decor.

Masseria Dagilupi was made to be a coastal retreat, where guests can relax with a sense of well-being, indulging in an experience that is as rejuvenating as it is comforting. Here, even the breakfasts are prepared with fresh, local ingredients to showcase the beauty and bounty of the region. And as relaxation and serenity are at the core of the property, they offer a range of services including personalized yoga sessions with experienced instructors or Ayurvedic massages in the shade of millenary olive trees. Guests can sail the waves of the Adriatic creeks by private boat, or visit major hotspots of the Salento, Basilicata, or and Matera by electric car to see an arider landscape and the area’s sandy beaches.
